Buy a Wooden Stake from the The Vampire Insider for 100 Moola, or find one while chopping trees (5%). Seasoned Hunter gives one on spawn.
Stabbing a vampire leaves the stake in them for about 10 seconds or until they pull it out. It burns them while lodged. The stake can hit humans, but deals little damage.
