Pocket crossbow for quick interventions, works against both vampires and humans alike.
Much like the bow, except without the benefits and shortcomings of chargeable shots. Has great consistency, no dropoff, and greater arrow types.

Press R while holding to switch to switch arrow types. Note: you cannot switch types with an arrow currently loaded.
Arrow Types
SILVER ARROWS NOT RELEASED
- Silver Arrows: Deal full base damage + 10 procs of 5 silver burn damage afterwards.
- Dynamite Arrows: Deal 1/2 of base damage upon initial contact but deal +19 damage afterwards via explosion (boosted by Demolitions Expert to +22).
- Flaming Arrows: Deal 2/3 of base damage upon initial contact but inflict eight procs of 1.8 burn damage afterwards. (Pyromaniac does NOT affect crossbow flame arrows.)
- Wooden Stakes: Deals 1.8× more damage and leaves a stake in the bodies of hit vampires for ~10s or until the vampire pulls it out, this also burns them for the duration it's in them.
All arrow types require the corresponding item to use: - Wooden Stakes are dropped when chopping trees or bought from the Vampire Insider. - Flame Arrows require packs found in chests and purchasable at the Gun Store.
Note: Crossbow does not work with any of the Bow's respective cards and does not gain flame arrow buff from Pyromaniac card.
