The Professional is an NPC who gives a quest to obtain the legendary sniper rifle Martini Henry.

Location

• Exact spot: on the overlook (center-right side of the map)

Quest: Sniper Quest

To unlock the ability to purchase the Martini Henry, you must complete a chain of tasks from The Professional.

Step 1: Bring 5 Tonics

• Dialogue: "Bring me 5 Tonics and I’ll see what you’re made of"
• Requirement: 5 Tonics
• If you fail the quest (die or otherwise fail), this step resets and you must repeat it.

Step 2: Kill 3 Players from at least 350 studs

• Kill three players while standing at a distance of ≥ 350 studs from each target.
• You will receive a notification after each kill confirming the distance.
• Important: If you die or fail this part, the entire quest resets to Step 1 (you must bring 5 Tonics again).

Step 3: Talk to The Professional

After completing Step 2, return to the NPC and speak with him.

Step 4: Purchase the Martini Henry (optional)

Once the quest is complete, you can buy the Martini Henry from his stock. Price is listed on the weapon page.

Notes

• The quest can be retried if you fail.
• For Step 2, it is recommended to use Malcolm .70.
