Alignments
Alignments determine your character's faction and gameplay style. There are three alignments available: Inlaw, Outlaw, and Vampire.
Inlaw and Outlaw
Inlaws and Outlaws are fundamentally similar, but each has its own ways of making money.
Spawn Points
- Inlaw spawn options:
- B. Ridge County
- Digsite
- Outlaw spawn options:
- Campsite
- Outlaw Hideout
- Outlaw Hills
- Red Corner
- Sandtown
Inlaws can switch to Outlaw spawns mid-game, and vice versa.
Vampire
Vampires are immortal, dastardly roamers of the night – the natural enemy of human folk, whether Inlaw or Outlaw. Be wary of these foul creatures who have rejected their humanity.
Obtainment
To become a vampire, you must complete the Moe Wolff quest.
Note: upon becoming a vampire, you will keep your Stand, throwables, stand disks, and money only. Everything else is lost. You will also lose the ability to interact with most NPCs.
Moe Wolff Method
- Possess a Meteor Shard.
- Summon Moe Wolff by clicking while holding the shard during night time in Moe's dwelling (behind Ridge B. County).
- Defeat Moe while dealing at least 10% of his health or most damage in the last 30 seconds beforehand.
- Interact with Moe Wolff again to initiate his QTE struggle (only if you fulfilled step 3). Failing the QTE will result in Moe turning you into a vampire.
Progression
Once you become a vampire:
- Use the Travel tool in your inventory to travel to the Nether realm.
- Obtain Blood Vials by speaking to the Inconspicuous Vampire (see below).
- Interact with the floating orb when you first become a vampire – it will direct you to speak with the Core.
- Talk to the Core for Voidwalker quests, changing moves, tiering up, etc.
Tiering Up
Tiering up increases your maximum stamina, speed, size, and blood bar (possibly also regen speed) and unlocks one of your move slots.
Blood Vials
Blood Vials are a form of currency used by vampires to interact and make exchanges with the Core. They are created by emptying 90% of your blood bar when talking to the Inconspicuous Vampire NPC. Blood Vials are not lost upon death or leaving the game.
Full vampire progression costs at least 96 Blood Vials minimum (without failing or rerolling quests). Rerolling a quest costs 1 vial.
| Tier | Number of Quests | Cost per Quest (Vials) | Total Vials for Tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 → 2 | 3 | 3 | 9 |
| Tier 2 → 3 | 4 | 6 | 24 |
| Tier 3 → 4 | 7 | 9 | 63 |
| Total | 96 | ||
Advice
It is recommended to grind 100–150 vials with a friend before starting quests, as tiering up makes it increasingly difficult to obtain vials (harder to fill the blood bar). At Tier 1 it takes 2–3 hits to max out the blood bar, whereas at Tier 4 it takes around 3–4 moves.
Key NPCs
- Moe Wolff – summonable at night in his dwelling; defeating him and failing his QTE turns you into a vampire.
- Inconspicuous Vampire – allows you to create Blood Vials by draining your blood bar.
- Core – grants Voidwalker quests, allows tiering up, and lets you change moves.
